DIARIO DE UN REFUGIO

“It’s Saturday morning, I take the bike and head for the outskirts of Xàtiva. Chechu, Star, Cartucho, and especially Zara and Gordon are waiting for me impatiently, today is the day of the ride. I have been volunteering at the animal shelter in the town where I live for two years now. My job is to help in whatever is needed and take care of these dogs while they are with us as we look for a new family where they can have a second chance. I am Jose Fonollosa and this is DIARY OF A SHELTER”.

Meet Jose Fonollosa, author of this comic and volunteer at an animal shelter in his town for a couple of years already. More committed, surer of his work as a volunteer, he has even dared to offer himself as a foster home! It’s been a while since he first entered the yard of the shelter and he has a lot of things to share: new experiences and learning, new animals that have been abandoned and need to be found a home… every Saturday we discover a new adventure.
