BLACKBEARD'S CAT

Jose Fonollosa

DISCOVER THE LIFE AND MISDEEDS OF ONE OF THE MOST FEARSOME AND BLOODY PIRATES IN HISTORY, NARRATED BY AN EXCEPTIONAL WITNESS, HIS CAT.

“Blackbeard’s Cat” narrates the adventurous and plundering life of Captain Edward Theatch, better known as Blackbeard, one of the bloodiest and most fearsome pirates in the world.

His adventures as a pirate begin with the capture of the French merchant ship Concorde, which will become his flagship, renamed “Queen Ann’s Revenge”.

We will accompany him in his misdeeds terrorizing every crew that sails the Caribbean. He goes so far as to besiege the city of Charleston without anyone being able to stop him. After amassing an immense fortune, he abandons his crew and asks for the King’s pardon. But it is only a ruse to save his neck that fails; he has plundered the region and many are calling for his head.

Edward Theatch does not suspect that a crew has been paid to capture him or end his life.

And all this told by a member of his crew, an exceptional witness of his life. The shipboard cat, who will accompany him throughout his adventures, telling us about his achievements and villainies.
