HORARIO DE OFICINA

OFFICE HOURS

Ricardo Peregrina

KASPO S.A. is a leading multinational in the filibuster sector, with several branches in the main underdeveloped countries. Its subsidiary in Spain, headed by the highly unqualified Mr. Pallarols, has a team of professionals with diverse profiles and extensive experience in issues such as backstabbing, coffee breaks, gossiping, mobbing, skulking and brown-nosing, among others.

“OFFICE HOURS” is a portrait of the microcosm of any office: with tyrannical bosses and exploited employees who suffer in silence or do their best to shirk their duties.
With acid and irreverent humour, it portrays the insecurities of workers due to job insecurity, the abuse of employees by their bosses and the exercise of absolute power, whether from the head office itself or from the headquarters in Germany. The series is full of layoffs and eternal staff adjustments, which are measures of pressure and control to get the employees to behave as desired.

In the purest style of THE OFFICE, this series is a brilliant satire of today’s world, with its trends, vagaries and various pettiness. The human fauna that walks through these pages is close and real. And although exaggerated by the filter of sarcasm, we all know such creatures and to our misfortune we have to deal with them 8 hours a day.

Charles Schulz said that a comic book artist is one who has to draw the same thing day after day without ever repeating himself. Ricardo Peregrina has managed to put together a repertoire of characters so good and so well defined that his humour seems inexhaustible, as readers of this series will enjoy.
